In anticipation of its 50th anniversary, Indocement has undertaken the renovation of uninhabitable homes (Rutilahu) in partner villages located near its Citeureup and Cirebon plant.

In Citeureup, the renovation was carried out on the residence of Mr. Marlis, located in Kampung Rawasiluman, RT 02 RW 05, Lulut Village. Mr. Marlis is a member of the underprivileged community with no fixed income, and his home is situated in close proximity to Indocement’s mining operations. Meanwhile, in Cirebon, the renovation was conducted on the home of Mr. Mardi, located in Cupang Village, Gempol Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency.

This initiative is expected to provide meaningful support to individuals living below the poverty line by improving their access to basic needs through the transformation of uninhabitable dwellings into safer, more comfortable, and dignified living spaces.
