Responsibility

Implementation of Corporate CSR program, normatively is a moral obligation for the Company, either within the company or outside. The Company seeks to participate in supporting sustainable economic development to improve the quality of life and the environment that is beneficial to local communities and societies to establish relationships between the Company and the broader community that are harmonious, balanced and in accordance with the environment, values, norms and culture of the community.

The implementation of Indocement’s CSR program is based on the prevailing laws and regulations, including:

• Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Company;
• Law No. 25 of 2007 on Capital Investment;
• Law No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management;
• Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 47 of 2012 on Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Company.

Whilst organizing social responsibility systematically, and taking into account the expectations of all stakeholders, Indocement uses ISO 26000 as a reference document to provide guidance on company social responsibility also “HeidelbergCement Sustainability Commitments 2030”.
