Indocement has once again achieved the Gold rating in the Company Performance Rating Program (Proper) conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment. This year, the Cirebon Plant received the rating, having previously earned it in 2012 and 2013. The achievement is attributed to the Cirebon Plant’s success in reducing non-hazardous solid waste by 946.9 tons, hazardous waste by 86.46 tons, and achieving energy efficiency of 5,545.32 GJ.

The Gold Proper award was presented by the Indonesian Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, to Indocement’s CEO, Christian Kartawijaya, on February 24, 2025, in Jakarta.

The Gold and Green Proper ratings for Indocement’s three plant complexes align with the company’s new purpose, “Material to Build Our Future,” reflecting its commitment to sustainable operations and creating a greener future. Efforts include increasing the use of alternative raw materials and fuels, as well as environmentally friendly energy in the company’s operations.
