The DKI Jakarta government-issued Governor Regulation No. 102 of 2021 concerning Waste in Areas and Companies where the regulation is responsible or area managers and or companies are required to manage waste in areas and or facilities that are the responsibility of management.
One of the companies in Jakarta that has processed waste to become refused dreived fuel (RDF), this company partnered with Indocement to accept the RDF in the form of used plastic and packaging from waste processing. From this collaboration, Indocement will receive RDF which will be used as an alternative fuel to replace coal.
The ceremonial delivery of the first RDF held on June 23, 2022, at ITC Cempaka Mas where attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, Director of Indocement, Troy D. Soputro, and officials from one of leading developer companies in Indonesia
