On March 19, 2025, Indocement Director Oey Marcos accompanied several high-ranking officials, including Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, to visit the Bantargebang Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST) to monitor waste management practices.
In his speech, Pramono Anung highlighted that Jakarta produces approximately 8,000 tons of waste daily. The RDF Plant at Bantargebang can process 1,000 tons of new waste and 1,000 tons of old waste per day, while the RDF Plant in Rorotan can handle 2,500 tons of new waste daily. This is expected to reduce waste sent to Bantargebang by up to 5,000 tons per day. He also praised Indocement for accepting 54,000 tons of RDF from Bantargebang in 2024 and committed to increasing its capacity to receive 625 tons per day from TPST Bantargebang and 875 tons per day from the RDF Plant in Rorotan.
