Indocement Supports the Indonesian Construction Workforce Competition 2024

Indocement demonstrates its commitment to actively enhancing human resources in the construction industry by becoming an official partner for the regional selection activities of the 2024 Indonesian Construction Workforce Competition (KTKK). This competition is organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing through the Directorate General of Construction Development to select national representatives for the Indonesian Construction event to be held on November 6–8, 2024, at ICE BSD Tangerang.  The competition's theme is "Agility and Adaptability for a Competitive Construction Sector." 

Ir. Abdul Muis, M.T., Director General of Construction Development, emphasized the importance of a construction workforce capable of adapting in the era of Industry 4.0. Participants will compete in four categories: Building a Mini House, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Surveyor, and Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator).

Indocement will be an official partner in the Building a Mini House category for the regional selections in South Sumatra (Lampung, Bengkulu, South Sumatra, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung) with the Regional Construction Services Center (BJKW) II Palembang on August 28–29, 2024, in West Java (West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten) with BJKW III Jakarta on September 24–26, 2024, and in the BJKW IV Surabaya region (Central Java, DIY, East Java, Bali, NTB, and NTT) on October 2–3, 2024. The provinces that win first place will represent their regions at the national level in the construction workforce competition at the KI 2024 event. 

Indocement is not only a sponsor but also actively provides technical support (judges) and product knowledge about Tiga Roda Cement and Mortar to participants and stakeholders during the event. Each region will send their best representatives to the national peak of KTKK 2024. BJKW II will be represented by South Sumatra Province, BJKW III by DKI Jakarta Province, and BJKW IV by Central Java Province.
