Celebrate Earth Day 2022, Indocement Implements Tree Planting Movement Simultaneously

Coinciding with Earth Day which celebrates on April 22, 2022, the Board of Directors, Management, and representatives of Indocement employees simultaneously carry out a joint tree-planting movement in three factories namely Citeureup Factory, Cirebon Factory, and Tarjun Factory.

This activity is part of the Company's annual routine agenda on increasing awareness and appreciation of the earth as a human habitation. With the theme of Earth Day 2022, #InvestInOurPlanet or "Investing in Our Planet." This year's Indocement activity also invites stakeholder representatives from the surrounding community, namely several farmer group to plant a tree.

The Company realizes that mining activities carried out have the potential to have an impact on the environment. Therefore, the Company always strives to reduce the impact of land damage through environmental management and monitoring plans under an environmental impact analysis (AMDAL) and post-mining land reclamation plans. One of the efforts is to carry out post-mining reclamation activities.

By the end of 2021, Indocement has planted nearly 150,000 multi-species trees in its three manufacturing sites.
