PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (“Indocement”) on May 31, 2021 received an award as “The Best Equitable Treatment of Shareholders” and the “Top 50 Big Capitalization Public Listed Company” award at The 12th IICD Corporate Governance Awards 2021. This award was received by the Corporate Legal & Compliance Dept. Head, Elizabeth Maryana who represented Indocement's Board of Directors on May 31, 2021 in Jakarta. This appreciation is clear evidence that Indocement has consistently implemented good corporate governance (“GCG”) practices in its operational performance.

The winner of The 12th IICD Corporate Governance Awards 2021 was chosen by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (“IICD”) which has reviewed and assessed the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) practices for 100 issuers with big cap market capitalization and 100 issuers. with a medium market capitalization (mid-cap) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

There are ten winning categories in this event, namely Best CG Overall, Best Financial Sector, Best Non-Financial Sector, Best SOE/BUMN, Best Right of Shareholders, Best Equitable Treatment of Shareholders, Best Role of Stakeholders, Best Disclosure & Transparency, Best Responsibility of the Boards, Most Improved.

The award ceremony was also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2009–2014 period, Boediono, the Minister of Communication and Information for the 2014–2019 period, Rudiantara, and IICD Chairman Sigit Pramono.

By receiving this award, Indocement will continue to uphold the principles of transparency and accountability as a public company that implements GCG sustainably in every daily operational activity of the Company.
