Indocement signed a Trial Agreement for the Provision of Alternative Fuel from Domestic Waste Processing with the Tanah Bumbu Regency Government on September 27, 2023. This signing is a continuation of the MoU that has been signed by the Head of the Tanah Bumbu Regency Environmental Service and the General Manager of Energy & Alternative Fuel Alternative Material Indocement.

This signing marks the start of a trial for the provision of alternative fuel from domestic waste processing at Sungai Dua landfill. The refuse-derived fuel produced by Sungai Dua landfill will start being delivered to Indocement Tarjun Factory Complex at the end of October 2023.

It is hoped that this collaboration can help Tanah Bumbu Regency to overcome urban waste problems.
