This is a philosophy that must be remembered to manage the earth. It is a great responsibility to bequeath green, healthy and sustainable earth for next generations.

One of the most dominant aspects in human life is construction. Almost 80% human activities are inside building. Therefore, when building, it is very important to use product that pays good attention to environmental aspects. This awareness encourages Indocement as the only one from cement industry along with 18 other building materials manufacturers, to found an organization called Green Product Council Indonesia (GPCI).

This organization is established to push all producers to pay attention to environmental aspect of their products. Through ‘green product rating tools’, which will be compiled together by professional experts, GPCI will issue ‘Green Label’ for qualified products with audit that executed by professional institution as well. This  will encourage consumers to select ‘Green Label’ products as their main choice. Thus, every product will compete to achieve green criteria.    
 
The founding of GPCI was marked by the signing of the Deed of Organization Establishment in front of public notary by the founders from all industry representatives in Jakarta on Friday, 11 December, 2015. Indocement was represented by Troy D. Soputro, Commercial Director. Through this signing, Indocement officially becomes member of Circle Founder GPCI.
