Indocement conduct the Socialization and Counseling on Business Competition together with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (“KPPU”) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in a form of hybrid meeting at the ASIST Hall, Citeureup Factory through the Webex Event, with 210 participants, including members of the Board of Commissioners, Directors and Employees of Indocement.

There were four materials presented in that socialization, the material began with a keynote speech from Afif Hasbullah, S.H., M.Hum. as Chairman of the KPPU. After that proceed with other materials, including: 

1. Evidence of Cartel in Business Competition Law by Ukay Karyadi, S.E., M.E. as Commissioner of KPPU; 
2. Exclusive Dealing presented by Muhammad Hadi Susanto as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions; 
3. Potential Abuse of Dominant Position in the Perspective of Business Competition Law and Merger and Acquisition Aspect by Aru Armando as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. 

Special thanks for all participants who attended both in person and online, which showed high enthusiasm in this business competition law compliance socialization activity. This can be seen in the interactive discussion and participation of participants in the question-and-answer session. 

Through this program, each participant gain information on the development of the the business competition law provision in Indonesia, including what can and cannot be done referring to Law No. 5 of 1999 concerning Anti-monopoly and Unfair Business Competition. This is in line with the compliance with business competition within the Company which is an important part of the Indocement Code of Ethics, which must be applied by the Company's personnel in carrying out their daily tasks, as well as showing support for the role of KPPU as a supervisor of business competition in our country.
