Indocement Cirebon Plant has achieved two awards at the Environmental and Social Innovation Award (ENSIA) 2024. The event, themed "Extraordinary Turnaround Innovation for Sustainability," recognized Indocement with the Platinum Award for environmental innovation in the category of B3 Waste Reduction and Utilization through the PAGER SIRI program, which repurposes used Bag Filter B109d as a substitute for fossil energy. Additionally, Indocement received the Gold Award for social innovation through the PALIMANAN MERDEKA program, which converts waste into energy by empowering local communities.

The event was attended by Alue Dohong, Deputy Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, in late July 2024. This year, a total of 756 participants submitted innovations related to the environment and social impact, with 60 participants recognized as Local Heroes.
