The Indocement Citeureup Factory welcomed participants of the Education and Training (Diklat) for Environmental Supervisory Officials from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) for the second time. A total of 40 training participants from the Environmental Agencies (DLH) of various regions in Indonesia, accompanied by instructors from the Environmental Protection and Management (PPLH) KLHK, visited on September 19, 2024.

The event began with a welcome speech from the General Manager of the Citeureup Factory, Setia Wijaya. He stated that this knowledge-sharing activity is a positive endeavor for both the company and KLHK in fostering good relations and providing firsthand field experience related to the environmental management and monitoring activities conducted by the company.

The second speech was delivered by the Junior Expert Learning Technology Developer of KLHK, Drs. Iyan Suwargana, M.S. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn at Indocement and explained that the selection of the Indocement Citeureup Factory as a learning location is special because Indocement Citeureup has proven its compliance in environmental management, earning the Green PROPER rating. The next activity was a presentation on safety induction, company profile, and the environmental management aspects implemented by Indocement. The event continued with visits to several environmental management locations within Indocement Citeureup.

It is hoped that this knowledge-sharing activity will benefit the training participants and Indocement, as well as strengthen the good relationship between the two institutions.
