PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (Indocement) celebrated its 49^th anniversary on August 4, 2024. This year's theme is "Growing for a Stronger Greener Future." The tagline comprises two essential words: "Growing" and "Greener." "Growing" reflects the significant steps Indocement has taken to strengthen its leadership position in the national cement industry over the past few years. Meanwhile, "Greener" aligns with Indocement's commitment to creating environmentally friendly operations.

Various events were held to commemorate Indocement's 49^th anniversary, including the implementation of the "Indocement Baik" program. This program aims to share happiness with the communities around Indocement's operational areas.

• At the Citeureup Plant, the "One Book One Employee" program involved collecting educational books to donate to schools in partner villages. Additionally, Indocement encouraged employees to participate in voluntary teaching at SMK Tunggal Prakarsa. The company also organized a football tournament involving Indocement's partner football academy to support football development.
• Employees from the Cirebon Plant engaged in activities such as "Sedekah Sampah" program, donating educational packages, and sharing meals with orphaned children cared for by educational institutions, orphanages, foundations, and partner villages. Furthermore, Indocement Cirebon shared knowledge through the "Indocement Ajar" program, covering various topics available for download on the Santap Ilmu YouTube channel, benefiting the community.
• At the Tarjun Plant, employees donated educational packages to orphaned children in partner villages and provided additional food packages to 1,000 elementary school students. Indocement Tarjun also carried out employee volunteering programs, including renovating a community meeting hall in Dusun Simpang Tiga Quarry, spending a day with students from the Special Needs School (SLB) Negeri Kotabaru, educating about composting at SMAN 1 Kelumpang Selatan, and teaching mangrove conservation to 100 junior and senior high school students from partner villages.

Continuing the tradition from previous anniversaries, Indocement organized a Sports and Arts Week across all operational areas, involving all employees.

As part of the 49^th anniversary celebration, Indocement's CEO, Christian Kartawijaya, inaugurated the "Arena 3Roda." Formerly known as the "sporthall," this arena at the Citeureup Plant Complex serves as a venue for various sports activities. It has been renovated this year to meet higher standards of sports facilities.

The peak event of the 49^th anniversary celebration took place simultaneously at three locations: the Citeureup Plant, the Cirebon Plant, and the Tarjun Plant. In his address, the CEO expressed gratitude to all Indocement employees: "Thank you to all Indocement employees who continue to work with enthusiasm. Let's continue to foster a spirit of hard work, intelligence, sincerity, and maintain synergy so that we can promptly overcome challenges and make the most of every opportunity!"¹.
