The Indocement Tarjun Factory has received the 2023 National Level Proklim Support Appreciation Award. This award was presented directly by the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Nurbaya, M.Sc., at the Dr. Soejarwo Auditorium, Manggala Wanakbakti Building, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Jakarta on October 24, 2023.

Indocement received this awards because an inseparable support from Indocement Tarjun Factory in helping Langadai Village and Tegalrejo Village achieve the status of Main Proklim Village at the National Level from KLHK, while other villages such as Tarjun Village, Serongga Village, and Panci Island Village have achieved the status of Proklim village at the Pratama and Madya levels. This award is given to the 2023 Proklim implementers in Indonesia who have actively participated in supporting climate change adaptation efforts and mitigation actions at the grassroots level.

Proklim itself is a national scale program managed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, this program is intended to increase the involvement of village communities in Indonesia and other stakeholders to strengthen the capacity for adaptation to the impacts of climate change and reduce GHG emissions, and provide recognition for climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts that have been carried out which can improve welfare at the local level in accordance with regional conditions in facing the impacts of climate change.

It is hoped that with the achievement of the proklim village status, it will be able to inspire other Indocement partner villages to care more about the environment and prevent climate change.
