Indocement officially commenced the operation of the Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at the Tarjun Plant on May 22, 2024. Present at the inauguration were Chairman of the Managing Board of Heidelberg Material, Dr. Dominik Von Achten; Member of the Managing Board of Heidelberg Materials, Roberto Callieri; President Director of Indocement, Christian Kartawijaya; Director of Indocement, Hasan Imer; Hølger Morch; Antonius Marcos; and the General Manager of the Tarjun Plant, Agus Fahri Rasad.

Located in the Tarjun Plant Area, Kelumpang Hilir Subdistrict, Kotabaru, the PLTS boasts a capacity of 19.7 MWp or 15 Megawatts (MW). The operation of this solar power plant marks a further step by Indocement to reduce CO2 emissions from the cement production process.In addition to the inauguration, the delegation also participated in planting tree saplings and reviewed the jetty and dock optimization project at the Tarjun Plant.
