PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (“Indocement”), successfully triumphed the 2023 Corporate Secretary Champions award from SWA Media Group and Spot Corporate Communication in the second place this year. The award was given via online on March 30, 2023 by Kemal E. Gani as Group Chief Editor of SWA Media.

This award was achieved based on an assessment of the programs implemented by Indocement's Corporate Secretary (Corsec) during 2022 which were then presented in front of the jury on 22 February 2023 virtually. From the many participants who took part in this competition, the jury set a minimum score of 80 and chose 11 companies with the best Corsec that had successfully carried out their functions based on corporate standards and best practice adjustments in accordance with changes and global demands, such as environment, social and governance (ESG). 

As an appreciation for the winners of the 2023 Corporate Secretary Champions, SWA Network also held a webinar with the theme “New Challenges & New Strategic Roles of Corporate Secretary in the Disruption Era” by inviting the winners of this competition as speakers for sharing their experiences with other companies. Antonius Marcos, Director & Corporate Secretary of PT Indocement Tunggal Perkasa Tbk was also the speaker at this webinar.

Hopefully this award can motivate the Company to be better in the future and make Indocement as a role model for other companies, especially in implementing coporate secretary management best practices.
