Indocement has once again won the Industrial Technology Pioneer Award (RINTEK) from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. This year, Indocement received the RINTEK 2024 award for its innovation titled "Synthetic Fuel Feeder Facility (BBS) from Liquid Waste as an Alternative Fuel Substitute for Coal in the Clinker Production Process." The award was presented directly by the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, to Plant 14 Manager Fivian Dheni in Jakarta on October 1, 2024.
In 2024, a total of 21 companies participated with 34 technology innovation titles in this event, where the top 10 innovations were selected through a series of assessments by a panel of judges consisting of industry practitioners and consultants, Professors from Fasilkom UI, and Senior Lecturers from the Chemical Engineering Department of ITB. Indocement's innovation was presented by Ahmad Rafif and Zulfikar Ali Saydi in a workshop in Surabaya on June 12-14, 2024.
