PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. in collaboration with PT Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra (GRC Board) in collaboration with PT Cerita Untuk Anak Negeri, a provider of a circular economy platform called Octopus whose role is to collect and manage recyclable and non-recyclable waste from the community.

The signing of the cooperation was carried out on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Wisma Indocement by the Director of Indocement, Troy D. Soputro, and the General Manager of Alternative Fuel & Alternative Materials Division, Soegito C. Kurniawan, Director of PT Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra (GRC Board), Veronica S. Rachim, CEO, Octopus Moehammad Ichsan. In addition, the signing was also attended by the Chief Marketing Officer of Octopus, Hamish Daud

Through this collaboration, Indocement is going to utilize the Octopus application to collect cement bag waste from users for reuse. The waste that cannot be recycled by Octopus will be processed by Indocement into alternative fuel for cement plant operations, while PT Bangunperkasa Adhitamasentra will use used Tiga Roda cement bags as an alternative material in producing cement boards. This program invites industry, construction players, and the general public to be directly involved in protecting the environment.
