PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa is incorporated following the merger of six companies owning the first eight cement plants.

Indocement becomes a publicly listed company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

• Indocement acquires Plant 9 in Palimanan, Cirebon, West Java with an annual designed capacity of 1.3 million tons of cement.
• Surabaya cement terminal is completed.
• RMC business is started.

Plant 10 in Palimanan, Cirebon, West Java with an annual designed production capacity of 1.3 million tons of cement is completed.

Plant 11 in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java with an annual designed production capacity of 2.6 million tons of cement is completed.

PT Indo Kodeco Cement (Plant 12) is fully acquired via merger with an annual designed production capacity of 2.6 million tons of cement.

HeidelbergCement Group becomes the majority shareholder through its subsidiary Kimmeridge Enterprise Pte. Ltd.

Kimmeridge Enterprise Pte. Ltd. transfers its shares in Indocement to HC Indocement GmbH.

• Indocement introduces the PCC product to the Indonesian market.
• HC Indocement GmbH merges with HeidelbergCement South-East Asia GmbH. The latter becomes the direct majority shareholder of Indocement.

HeidelbergCement South-East Asia GmbH. is merged into HeidelbergCement AG. Consequently the latter controls 65.14% of Indocement shares.

• Indocement acquires 51% shares of PT Gunung Tua Mandiri, a newly developed aggregates quarry in Rumpin, Bogor, West Java.
• Indocement revamps Plant 8 at Citeureup providing additional annual installed design production capacity at 600,000 tons of cement per year.

• Indocement, becomes the first company in Indonesia to receive Certified Emission Reduction (CER) for its Alternative Fuel Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project.
• Indocement achieves a Green Rating from the Environmental Performance Rating Program (PROPER) for the period of 2007-2008, for Citeureup Factory and Blue Rating for Palimanan Factory.
• Due to internal restructuring, HeidelbergCement AG - the majority shareholder of Indocement - transfers all of its shares in Indocement to Birchwood Omnia Limited (England), which is 100% owned by HeidelbergCement Group.

• Birchwood Omnia Limited, (HeidelbergCement Group), the majority shareholder of Indocement, sells 14.1% of its shares to the public.
• Indocement earns the highest appraisal, a “Gold Rating” from the 2008-2009 PROPER Program for the Company’s Citeureup Factory, Bogor. Indocement is the second company to receive a Gold Rating in Indonesia, since the PROPER Program began in 2002. Concurrently Indocement’s Palimanan Factory - Cirebon obtains a “Green Rating” from the PROPER Program 2008-2009.
• Indocement’s subsidiary PT Mandiri Sejahtera Sentra (MSS) expands its ownership of its aggregate quarry in Purwakarta, West Java to 100%. MSS has estimated aggregate reserves of about 95 million tons. The acquisition has enabled Indocement to become the market leader for aggregate supply operations with total estimated reserves of 115 million tons.
• Through its subsidiaries, PT Dian Abadi Perkasa and PT Indomix Perkasa, Indocement raise its stake to 100% in PT Bahana Indonor, a limited liability company having its business line in shipping.

• Two new cement mills started operation at Indocement's Palimanan Factory, increasing Indocement's total cement installed designed capacity by 1,5 million tons, to 18,6 million tons cement per year.
• Four new batching plants and more than 100 new mixer trucks have strengthened the Company's RMC business in anticipation of increasing market demand.

• The commencement of cement mill construction in Citeureup Factory to increase PCC production capacity by 1.9 million tons of cement. It is expected for completion in 2013.
• The operation of bagged-cement-to-container handling facility in jetty at Tarjun Factory.
• The commencement of cement terminal construction to provide loading facilities for bag and bulk cement in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, in order to meet the demand and increase market share in Kalimantan region.

• Start to use train as transportation mode to deliver bag cement from Palimanan to Purwokerto.
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) issued CER to Indocement for its success to reduce emission from the blended cement project for 2006-2007 period.
• Commencing of Banyuwangi Cement Terminal, East Java, to facilitate bag and bulk cement loading.
• Commencing of Samarinda Cement Terminal, East Kalimantan, to facilitate bag and bulk cement loading.

• Start Indocement QARD Laboratory in the Citeureup Factory received ISO 17025 and was accredited by the National Accreditation Laboratory (KAN) for Process Control Laboratory (PCL).
• Indocement officially started construction of a new cement plant (brown-field) in the Citeureup Factory, Bogor, West Java, with an annual installed design capacity of 4.4 million tons of cement, making this plant the largest plant in Indonesia.
• Indocement started to use additional trains to transport bagged-cement from Bogor to Surabaya.
• The addition of a vertical roller mill (VRM) unit in the Citeureup Factory with a production capacity of 1.9 million tons of cement per year.

• Acquisition of PT Terang Prakarsa Cipta by Indocement subsidaries, PT Sari Bhakti Sejati and PT Makmur Abadi Perkasa Mandiri.
• Launched KA Nambo III train, a cement carier from Nambo Train Station, Citeureup, to Banyuwangi Baru Station, Banyuwangi.
• Commenced an addition vertical roller mill (VRM) unit in Citeureup Factory with an annual production capacity of 1.9 million tons of cement, increasing the total cement production capacity to 20.5 tons of cement per year.

• Launched Sekolah Tukang Semen Tiga Roda (SETARA) program.
• Launched Indocement Safety Health Environment Learning Center (I-SHELTER) in Citeureup Factory and Cirebon Factory.
• Inaugurated the construction of Simple Healthy Instant Homes Indocement (RISHA-Indocement).
• Indocement officially became one of the Green Product Council Indonesia (GPCI) founder members.

• Launched Indocement's new product under the brand "Semen Rajawali".
• Inaugurated the new Plant 14 in Citeureup Factory in Bogor, West Java, with an annual installed capacity of 4.4 million tons of cement.

• Launched Indocement's new product "Duracem". Duracem is a type of Protland cement that utilizes slag from steel industry as one of its raw materials. In its production process, "Duracem" produces low CO2 emissions, therefore, it is environmentally friendly.

• Inauguration of the operation of Cement Terminal in Palembang which has a capacity of up to 500,000 tons of cement per year. In addition to increasing Tiga Roda cement sales on Sumatra Island, the presence of Cement Terminal in Palembang will also encourage an increase in the economy of the surrounding community.
