Indocement officially inaugurated the cargo vessel MV Harmoni I on May 16, 2025, at the PT Harapan Teknik Shipyard in Serang Regency, Banten Province. The event was attended by Indocement President Director Christian Kartawijaya, Directors Troy D. Soputro and Sunnira Ly, as well as PT Lintas Armada Indonesia President Director Antonius Chandra and Director Hendy Williams.
MV Harmoni I is a vessel with a carrying capacity of up to 20,000 tons and a draft depth of 8.45 meters. Originally built in 2016, the ship has undergone modernization at the PT Harapan Teknik Shipyard. It will operate under the joint venture company PT Samudra Harmoni Prakarsa, a strategic collaboration between PT Bahana Indonor (50%) and PT Lintas Armada Indonesia (50%).
The presence of MV Harmoni I will integrate the material supply chain infrastructure and unlock various strategic advantages, such as clinker shipments from the Tarjun and Maros Plant Complexes to Banyuwangi, as well as providing an alternative logistics distribution route via Marunda Port.
The operation of MV Harmoni I not only expands Indocement’s product distribution capacity but also strengthens its supply chain. The vessel reflects Indocement’s commitment to efficiency, reliability, and strategic foresight as the company continues to optimize its logistics operations.
