Labor Union of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. in Tarjun Factory officially has a new leader, she is a woman, named Hatijah who was unanimously elected as a Chairman of the All-Indonesian Cement Industry Labor Union of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. in Tarjun Factory, Kotabaru (SP ISSI ITP) for the 2023–2025 period.

Throughout 47 years since Indocement was established, this is the first time in the history that a woman leads the leadership of Labor Union organization. This proves that there is no gender exception for leading a Labor Union in Indocement.

Hatijah and the Labor Union Management for the 2023–2025 term was officially inaugurated on Thursday, 8 December 2022, at the Club House Room, Indocement Tarjun Factory. The inauguration was conducted by the General Secretary of the National Leadership Council of the Federation of All Indonesian Cement Industry Workers (DPN FSP ISSI), Agus Sarjanto, S.H.

The inauguration was also attended by Director & Corporate Secretary of Indocement, Antonius Marcos; CHRD Manager, Dani Handajani; Management of Indocement Tarjun Factory; The Kotabaru District Office of Social Affairs, Labor and Transmigration (Disnakertrans) represented by H.M Fadillah; Head of SP ITP Citeureup Unit, Ribut Santoso; and Head of SP ITP Cirebon Unit, Heri Herdian; SP PT Semen Tonasa represented by Secretary General Muhammad Gaos; SP Palm Oil Processing Factory Refinery, which is affiliated under FSP ISSI and KSPI; Employment BPJS Management; BRI Management Batulicin Branch; as well as other invited guests.
